Time: 9:45AM - 11:00AM

Room: Concourse

Description:

The Job Creation Act of 2012 requires NTIA to establish a nationwide public safety broadband network (FirstNet) based on a single, national network architecture.  In the past, the public safety community has had trouble agreeing to a single network standard.  Panelists from various government agencies, first responders and the telecom industry will outline what is expected to happen over the next two years in building out this national public safety network (FirstNet).
