Drew Pizzolato

Drew Pizzolato is the project coordinator for the Literacy, Language and Technology Research (LLTR) group’s Tutor-Facilitated Digital Literacy Acquisition in Hard-to-Serve Populations research project. This project examines and will describe the digital literacy learning process of economically vulnerable adults who participated in Learner Web’s Digital Literacy Partnership, a multi-state Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) Sustainable Broadband Adoption (SBA) project. Drew was the project coordinator of this BTOP SBA project, which served over 12,000 learner participants in 5 states using a learning model that blended self-paced online instructional material with in-person tutor support. Prior to working for LLTR, Drew was a team lead at Powell’s Books and worked as part of a start-up collaborative to develop a web-based writing support program for college students.

Drew holds a BA in English Literature (Bowdoin College) and is pursuing a Masters in Public Administration at Portland State University.
